What you will do

• Design and deliver engaging enquiry-based Setswana lessons for Senior and FET phases (Grade 8-12) supported by technology.
• Observe, coach, and serve as a model teacher for Apprentice Teachers.
• Set ambitious academic goals and use ongoing assessment data to adjust instructional content and delivery.
• Collaborate with learning designers and Deans of Instruction to refine and enhance teaching practices.
• Maintain regular communication with parents through emails, telephone, and conferences.
• Contribute to co-curricular programming and participate in school committees and supervision duties.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor’s Degree + PGCE.
• SACE registration is mandatory.
• Extensive experience teaching Setswana or having it as a major in the final university year.
• Ability to lead a classroom independently.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional delivery.

• Experience or understanding of Cambridge curriculum objectives (O-levels).
