What you will do

• Test software for functionality, reliability, and performance across various platforms.
• Report and track bugs and defects in an online database, monitoring game stability.
• Contribute to test planning by creating, running, and scheduling test scripts for assigned game areas.
• Communicate the status of game areas to internal and external production and development teams.
• Perform risk analysis and escalate critical issues to QA management.
• Collaborate embedded with the development team and participate in requirement and design reviews.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
• At least one shipped product.
• Experience with QA processes, testing terminology, and testing on VR, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or PS4/PS5.
• Confident knowledge of business tools such as email, spreadsheets, and word processors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with 3D packages or video game engines.
• Certification and guideline experience across multiple platforms.
• Experience with database software such as Jira.
• Knowledge of network multiplayer systems and test automation.
• Experience working with or playing RPG games.
