Product & UX (Ecommerce): Supporting the User Research & UX Team by analyzing and documenting digital user flows across different platforms and apps with an accent on identifying UX patterns, best practices, and changes in the competitive environment. Focus on contributing to qualitative and quantitative User Research activities to strengthen overall insight generation and operational excellence.

Location: Hybrid in Hamburg, Germany. Opportunity to work remotely from abroad through the WorkFlex tool.

What you will do

• Regularly walk through and test digital user flows across selected competitor platforms.
• Capture and document flows in a consistent structure, including screenshots, observations, and key takeaways.
• Assist in preparing and conducting qualitative studies (e.g., usability tests, focus groups, interviews).
• Support quantitative research activities such as survey setup and data analysis.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with the responsible researchers about scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Contribute to transparent documentation and structured knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in UX/UI, HCI, Psychology, Media Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• Work carefully with a strong eye for detail, ensuring that documentation and analyses are accurate and consistent.
• Enjoy working in a structured and reliable way, planning your tasks and keeping an overview of timing and deliverables.
• Communicate clearly and proactively, align expectations, and keep others informed when things change.
• Curious and eager to learn, enjoy exploring how things work, and like to dig deeper into patterns and insights.
• Like to collaborate with others and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
