What you will do

• Develop and execute the end-to-end commercial strategy for the Italian online sports betting business to drive growth and player value.
• Own the sportsbook product roadmap in partnership with 3rd-party platform providers to ensure localization for the Italian market.
• Establish the company's entire sports risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controls, from the ground up.
• Oversee P&L exposure, monitor betting patterns, and optimize risk strategies to protect profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing and CRM teams to design sports-specific promotions and user acquisition funnels.
• Manage the transition from an external B2B risk management partner to a proprietary in-house trading team.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in the online sports betting (iGaming) industry.
• Deep understanding of the Italian sports betting market, local customer preferences, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven expertise in sportsbook risk management, liability mitigation, and pricing strategies.
• Experience managing 3rd-party platform providers and delivery of product roadmaps.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Must be located in or able to work in Rome, Italy (Hybrid).
