What you will do

  • Manage and update the asset register, conducting quarterly physical checks and ensuring proper handover procedures.
  • Coordinate cleaning, renovations, and maintenance of NRC compounds and offices, supervising casual staff.
  • Prepare and coordinate casual and incentive staff payroll data for review.
  • Oversee health, safety, and security briefings, ensuring all staff adhere to security policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with UN agencies, NGOs, and external actors to gather security information and analyses in Dadaab.
  • Handle general office administration, including filing systems, utility payments, and visitor accommodation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience in administration or safety and security.
  • Experience working in humanitarian/recovery contexts, specifically within complex and volatile environments.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Training in health, access, and security.
  • Must be a local national or resident of Garissa County.
