What you will do
- Provide Level 1 application support for business-critical internal and external systems across the platform.
- Act as the first point of contact for incidents and service requests, ensuring accurate triage and adherence to SLAs.
- Monitor application health using logs, observability tools, and FIX sessions, escalating issues as required.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or major incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews.
- Support application deployments, releases, and configuration changes from a supportability perspective.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server, MS SQL Server, Akamai, and Cloudflare configurations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an Application Support or Production Support role for business-critical systems.
- Appropriate rights and documentation for employment in Malaysia.
- Experience with .NET, containers, Kubernetes, service bus technologies, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Datadog.
- Experience supporting systems hosted in Azure or AWS.
- Strong skills in incident management and root cause analysis.
Nice to have
- ITIL knowledge and familiarity with IT Service Management practices.
- Exposure to DevOps and Agile ways of working.
