TL;DR

Location: Belgrade office (hybrid encouraged if within short commute; remote supported worldwide)

What you will do
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (Pandas, PySpark), AWS Glue, Lambda, and load into AWS data stores.
- Design and manage schemas for relational databases like Amazon RDS, Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Optimize queries, indexing, and OLAP systems like Amazon Redshift for performance and cost efficiency.
- Package and deploy Python data services with Docker on Amazon ECS/EKS, integrate via psycopg2 and boto3.
- Develop automation, monitoring, error handling, alerting, and maintain data lineage with AWS Glue Catalog.
- Collaborate with analysts/scientists, document pipelines, resolve tickets, and suggest improvements.
Requirements
- Python for data manipulation, ETL pipelines, automation, and integration.
- SQL for querying and manipulating databases; PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server for schemas, queries, data integrity.
- AWS services (S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue); data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, normalization, partitioning).
- Experience with data lakes, CI/CD for pipelines; good understanding of computing systems.
- Minimum 3 years in technician or similar role; degree in relevant subject; strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to diagnose issues, quick learner.
