Inside Sales Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Support sales growth by managing quote requests, sales leads, and product promotions in partnership with Outside Sales and agents.
• Handle a high volume of customer requests (50+ daily) via phone, email, EDI, and other electronic communication channels.
• Manage the end-to-end order process, including order entry, acknowledgment, and processing customer returns or claims.
• Collaborate with Shipping, Scheduling, Quality, Finance, and Engineering to ensure accurate product delivery.
• Analyze customer data and make pricing decisions based on company guidelines and market feedback.
• Act as the primary voice of the customer within the hirify.global organization to improve service and products.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, and/or account management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Above average technical aptitude to understand product functionality and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or AS 400 Mainframe.
• Experience with EDI.
• Knowledge of the Wire and Cable industry and distribution environments.
