What you will do

• Monitor and evaluate AWS, Azure, and GCP environments for security policy compliance.
• Support audits and assessments for frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
• Document security controls, processes, and procedures.
• Perform risk assessments and identify potential security gaps.
• Utilize security tools including CSPM, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners to analyze findings.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to promote secure cloud practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with security controls and compliance requirements such as ISO 27001 or CSA STAR.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to security tools such as Crowdstrike, Cloudflare, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools.
• Knowledge of code deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc.).
• Prior coursework or projects related to cloud security or compliance.
