Customer Service Automation Engineer

Location: Maia, Portugal. The role includes national and international mobility for approximately 35% of the time.

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze equipment specifications, technical requirements, customer requirements, standards, and regulations.
• Design automation solution architectures and validate that designs fully reflect the approved specifications.
• Perform electrical calculations covering cable sizing, cabling topology, and power requirements.
• Develop and program control algorithms and PLC-based automation solutions.
• Contribute to product manuals, data sheets, production and installation documentation, and release testing.
• Drive adoption of relevant technologies and continuous improvement of processes and working methods.

Requirements

• College degree in Electrical or Mechanical Automation Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, including programming experience.
• Knowledge of SIMATIC TIA Portal V16, including STEP 7 and WinCC.
• Professional experience in PLC programming.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Availability for national and international mobility for 35% of working time.
