My client, a leading polypropylene producer is seeking an experienced UNIPOL PP Technology & Commissioning Expert to support the final stages of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and production ramp-up of a new polypropylene facility based on UNIPOL PP technology.
The role is focused on providing deep operational and technological expertise throughout project execution and startup activities, ensuring full compliance with licensor requirements and successful achievement of plant performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Review P&IDs and 90% 3D model for compliance with the baseline project requirements, including review and approval of deviations from the baseline design.
Participate in construction reviews at 40% and 80% mechanical readiness stages.
Participate in the development of pre-commissioning and commissioning plans.
Inspect process equipment for compliance with the baseline design.
Review and prepare operating procedures.
Conduct personnel training on all aspects of UNIPOL PP technology and plant operation.
Participate in control logic verification (DCS/SIS).
Provide expert support during preparation and commissioning stages.
Support plant startup, achievement of design capacity, and execution of grade and process transitions.
Requirements
Experience working in a UNIPOL PP production facility as an Operator, Shift Supervisor, or Process Engineer.
Experience as a UNIPOL PP Licensing Engineer.
Experience developing training programs and conducting personnel training related to UNIPOL PP technology.
Participation in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for a UNIPOL PP unit, including development of related procedures.
Experience in startup, stabilization, and ramp-up of a UNIPOL PP unit to design capacity.
Experience in control logic verification (DCS/SIS).
Experience setting up PDS and APC systems.
Experience working with licensed catalysts and their equivalents used in UNIPOL technology.
Experience reviewing P&IDs, 3D models, installed equipment, and piping systems for compliance with the basic design.
