Senior Data Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Senior Data Analyst (Cybersecurity): Analyzing production telemetry and network flow logs to drive strategic decisions in network security and micro-segmentation with an accent on data quality, BI reporting, and AI/ML platform intelligence. What you will do

• Define key metrics and design BI dashboards using Grafana, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to monitor ingestion health and policy effectiveness.
• Analyze large-scale flow logs and policy-violation records to uncover trends, anomalies, and segmentation gaps.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines orchestrated by Airflow using Spark (PySpark/Scala) and Python.
• Define and enforce data-quality rules, schema validation, and maintain a comprehensive data catalog with lineage tracking.
• Translate complex technical data analyses into actionable business insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or BI, ideally within network security, cloud operations, or a SOC environment.
• Must be based in Ukraine.
• Expert proficiency with SQL, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Deep experience with Spark (PySpark/Scala) and Python data libraries (pandas, NumPy).
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Airflow, Bash) and data visualization platforms.
• Exceptional English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Understanding of data lake/lakehouse concepts and performant storage formats (Parquet, Delta).
• Familiarity with data governance platforms like Apache Atlas or DataHub.
• Experience with Git for schema and version control.
