Senior Analytics Engineer (Gamedev)

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain (2 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Lead the development of responsive and scalable self-serve insight products at petabyte levels.
• Manage the data product lifecycle, including tracking plans, data models, ELT pipelines, and Looker dashboards.
• Act as a guardian of data quality, ensuring consistent metric reporting across all data products.
• Provide technical leadership and partner with stakeholders to optimize operations and product success.
• Mentor team members and drive the adoption of engineering best practices within the team.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Barcelona, Spain.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics or engineering roles.
• Deep expertise with the modern data stack: BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow, GitHub, and Terraform.
• Exceptional SQL skills and solid proficiency in Python for automation and exploratory data analysis.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, such as Kimball methodology and star schemas.
