TL;DR
IS Specialist (QAD ERP): Consults and leads projects for technology solutions in QAD manufacturing and assembly plants with an accent on solution governance, design, deployment, optimization, and level 4 support. Focus on ensuring consistency with enterprise architecture roadmaps, gathering requirements, documenting specifications, and providing deep technical support for production incidents.
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire or Shrewsbury, Shropshire, United Kingdom - onsite five days a week. Visa sponsorship not available. Up to 15% travel (mainly UK/US).
Salary: £66,079 to £82,599 per annum + dependent upon experience

What you will do
- Ensure solution design aligns with enterprise architecture and P2P application roadmaps, including lifecycle management.
- Validate and sign-off third-party deliverables like coding, testing, and documentation.
- Gather business requirements and document functional/technical specifications, master data, and test scenarios.
- Represent solution design in reviews and provide level 4 support for production incidents and change requests.
- Communicate with partners, peers, and providers, delivering status updates to leadership.
- Identify and train facilities on template solutions for optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or other technology-related field.
- Knowledge of QAD architecture, technical direction, and roadmaps.
- Working background in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, quality, or machine maintenance.
- IT and ERP experience (can be concurrent), preferably digital manufacturing or shop floor.
- Strong customer focus, ability to influence, understand technology/business domains, and business operations.
