What you will do

• Provide technical leadership across the Foundation group, shaping architecture and execution for multiple teams.
• Contribute directly to design and implementation within various domains to address real system constraints.
• Guide the design of scalable, maintainable, and extensible systems for long-term evolution.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices to raise the overall technical bar.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to increase velocity and quality.
• Navigate and resolve complex, ambiguous challenges that span multiple teams and domains.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Proven experience as a Staff or Principal Engineer influencing technical direction across multiple teams.
• Deep expertise in designing large-scale distributed systems focusing on reliability and scalability.
• Ability to lead and drive alignment through collaboration and communication without formal authority.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid model in Tel Aviv.
