What you will do

• Lead gear and shaft component design, including VOC collection, 3D modeling, and FEA analysis.
• Manage component development processes, including APQP and PPAP reviews, and assess the supply base.
• Coordinate with global cross-functional teams, including system engineering, NPI, purchasing, and supply chain.
• Provide engineering support for the localization and development of drivetrain gear and shaft components.
• Apply new technologies and improve manufacturing processes to meet customer needs based on PQVC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or Material Science.
• Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically Creo and Creo Simulate for FEA and bolt joint analysis.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as forging, machining, and heat treatment.
• Experience in product design and development for torque converters, transmissions, and axles.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize objectives effectively.

Nice to have

• Background in gear and shaft design for construction, mining, energy, or transportation machinery.
• Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
• Familiarity with quality management tools such as FMEA.
• Fluency in English for effective global team collaboration.
• Strong presentation and project management skills.
