Senior Accountant

TL;DR

Senior Accountant (Finance): Managing G&A and S&M accounting, financial statement preparation across 10+ countries, and balance sheet reconciliations with an accent on US GAAP and IFRS standards. Focus on leading monthly and year-end closing processes and driving efficiency through AI and automation.

Location: Hybrid in Prague, Czech Republic (minimum 2 days/week in office). Work authorization for Prague, CZ is required.

What you will do

• Manage G&A and S&M accounting, including accrual accounting and PO approval processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and prepare financial statements for over 10 countries.
• Execute GAAP conversions and manage processes with external service providers.
• Lead global monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Support external group audits and handle ad hoc financial requests.
• Drive process improvements through the implementation of AI and automation.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of professional experience in accounting.
• Work authorization to work in Prague, CZ.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Netsuite, IFRS, and Workiva.
