Software Quality Engineer (Medtech)

What you will do

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test strategies for enterprise applications in an Agile environment.
• Review product requirements and functional specifications to define test scope and identify risks.
• Collaborate with software engineers and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Develop repeatable QA test plans based on functional requirements and user workflows.
• Investigate test failures by reviewing application logs, server logs, and database queries for root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise software testing or software quality engineering.
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing software applications on mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency with SQL queries.
• Ability to work remotely from Costa Rica with authorization to work in the country.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting software quality initiatives in cloud-based or DevOps environments, specifically with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
