What you will do
- Lead top-level marketing strategy and develop comprehensive launch playbooks for Original IP titles.
- Own and optimize the corporate website and game-specific landing pages using SEO best practices.
- Design and execute platform-specific social strategies across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, and Reddit.
- Manage player communities on Discord and Reddit, including the development of moderation policies.
- Create and maintain B2B sales collateral, pitch decks, case studies, and corporate presentations.
- Configure and manage end-to-end paid ad campaigns, tracking CPA and retention metrics.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in entertainment marketing with a track record of hands-on execution.
- Technical proficiency in optimizing paid campaigns on TikTok, YouTube, and Meta.
- Experience managing online gaming communities (Discord, Reddit).
- Proven ability to develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity and tone of voice.
- Ability to operate as a solo marketer while building scalable systems for a growing team.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Christchurch, NZ.
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B or client-facing marketing for studio services.
- Existing relationships with games media, journalists, or content creators.
- Experience managing PR outreach, press programs, or influencer contracts.
- Experience managing marketing budgets across multiple platforms.
