What you will do

• Provide programmatic, budgeting, and financial management oversight for all activities under the three program outcomes.
• Lead the preparation of state annual strategic plans, operational work plans, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Assume overall responsibility for the effective and timely implementation of state work plans in compliance with contracts.
• Manage, mentor, and guide a team of technical and administrative consultants in the state.
• Represent the program at key state-level forums and maintain collaborative relationships with the Ministry of Health and other government agencies.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Policy and Governance, Health Economics, or a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in senior programme management, including designing and evaluating complex health programs.
• Technical expertise in health systems strengthening, health financing, HMIS, and family planning.
• Deep understanding of the health policy environment and governance in Nigeria, particularly in Northern regions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English required.
• Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders, including government agencies and international donor organizations.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Hausa and other local languages.
