Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer (IC Assembly & Test): Driving operation quality improvements and process robustness through data analysis and quality tools with an accent on inline detection, defect prevention, and team alignment. Focus on leading quality projects, implementing firewalls, conducting audits, and applying statistical methods like SPC and MSA to minimize waste and ensure production efficiency.

What you will do

• Work closely with operations team to align on goals and provide data-driven improvement directions using NCRB, 8D, and CQC indicators.
• Simplify quality management processes like CMT and NCRB to balance quality and delivery.
• Lead QA task force for in-line detection improvements and breakthrough quality projects including firewalls, audits, FMEA, and control plans.
• Identify programs for early defect detection, lead QCC projects, and promote factory quality culture like 5S and Total Quality.
• Supervise OQD operators, apply statistical methods for process control, and perform MSA on inspection equipment.
• Coach junior engineers, act as quality SME, and build quality mindset across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master of Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in IC Assembly & Test Process.
• Strong background in Quality Control System, Process Control, Quality Management System, Process Audit, and Risk Assessment.
• Expert in quality tools like 8D, 3x5Whys, MSA, SPC.
• Good communication skill in English both written and verbal.
• Effective interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical skills; sense of urgency, teamwork, ability to work under pressure.
