Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 + equity

What you will do

• Develop and maintain standardized design review processes, templates, and workflows.
• Serve as the design review signoff authority to ensure all designs meet internal and customer reliability criteria.
• Establish and enforce comprehensive design, verification, and configuration management standards across engineering.
• Lead cross-disciplinary reviews to evaluate design readiness and verification closure.
• Manage structured design handoffs to Build Reliability as programs transition into production.
• Capture and incorporate flight lessons learned into future design iterations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical, computer, or relevant engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in technical aerospace or manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience managing projects or technical teams.
• Strong understanding of launch vehicles and spacecraft systems.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (citizen, green card holder, etc.) per ITAR regulations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in an engineering or science discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in technical aerospace and 5+ years in project management.
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience leading spacecraft mission design, integration, and launch.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
