Application Security Summer Intern (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Conduct threat modeling and analysis for existing and new products and projects.
• Perform penetration testing on web applications to identify vulnerabilities.
• Execute both manual and automated security testing processes.
• Analyze and discuss security requirements with participants in the software development process.
• Contribute to the creation and development of company products throughout their entire lifecycle.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HTTP and working proficiency in programming languages.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, including how to find, exploit, and fix them.
• English: Ability to read technical documentation required.
• Strong logical thinking and a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Linux or Windows operating systems.
• Scripting skills using Python, Bash, or Powershell.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools (e.g., Sonarqube, Fortify, ZAP, Burp).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Defect Dojo.
