Salary: $140,000 – $175,000 + equity

What you will do

• Lead hardware and mechanisms from conceptual design through qualification to on-orbit operations.
• Drive development through hands-on testing, analysis correlation, and hardware iterations.
• Perform hardware trades to guide sub-system and top-level product direction.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to establish requirements and manufacturing best practices.
• Define mechanical requirements, create initial concepts, and perform detailed analysis.
• Validate designs via prototypes and qualify flight hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or relevant engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design and analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD, FEA software, and practical application of GD&T.
• Experience with moving mechanical assemblies for aerospace (satellites, launch vehicles, etc.).
• Familiarity with NASA-STD-5017, SMC-S-016, and GSFC-STD-7000.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, etc.).
