What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of development tests, including kickoff, design, fabrication, and operation for vehicle qualification campaigns.
• Design test hardware, fixturing, and tooling using CAD, FEA, and hand calculations.
• Operate test stands and instrumentation, ensuring safe and organized execution of tests.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and recommend technical solutions during test campaigns.
• Define development test campaigns and work hands-on with flight hardware.
• Lead improvements to testing standards and mentor team members on design and scheduling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or other relevant engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of industry experience with mechanical, structural, and/or electromechanical test and design.
• Experience designing and testing mechanical assemblies for aerospace or terrestrial applications.
• Proficiency with CAD or FEA software (NX/Unigraphics and Teamcenter PLM preferred).
• Hands-on fabrication experience and expertise with data acquisition and test equipment.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (citizen, permanent resident, etc.) to comply with ITAR export control regulations.

Nice to have

• Basic practical programming abilities in Python, MATLAB, Simulink, C++, R, or LabVIEW.
• Experience with structural analysis tools like Simcenter 3D, Femap, or Hypermesh.
