What you will do

• Serve as core implementation for hybrid retrieval pipeline or grounding and citation mechanisms.
• Instrument existing RAG pipeline and support golden datasets preparation.
• Implement hybrid retrieval (BM25 + pgvector), adaptive context layers, and multi-turn prompt engineering.
• Build and deploy hybrid retrieval mechanisms integrated into infrastructure.
• Develop grounding modules with claim-level attribution and end-to-end integration tests.
• Collaborate with senior engineers via pair programming, backlog refinement, and sprint ceremonies.
• Write clean, modular Python code ensuring sub-4.5s low-latency execution.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or related field with proven ML engineering experience
• Highly proficient in Python with hands-on experience in vector databases (PostgreSQL, pgvector) and hybrid search.
• Proven experience building and deploying RAG pipelines and working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4o).
• Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML), Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with unit/integration tests (pytest) and LLM evaluation frameworks like RAGAS (plus).
• Proactive, collaborative team player for fast-paced embedded agile setup.
