What you will do

• Design, write, and maintain high-quality, efficient code for web crawlers and scrapers as the primary focus.
• Analyze, optimize, and improve existing functionality for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Drive technical decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and introduce new technologies.
• Solve complex problems and define robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, share expertise, and improve engineering quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience on complex production systems
• Deep understanding of modern software principles, architectural patterns, and best practices
• Strong hands-on PHP experience (3+ years), including optimization and debugging
• Proven experience building and maintaining production-grade web crawlers, scrapers, parsers (HTML parsing, HTTP internals, polite scraping)
• Experience with Docker for containerizing and deploying applications
• Linux background and scripting confidence
• Strong feedback skills for code reviews and working with ambiguous requirements
• Proactivity in foreseeing and mitigating issues

• Experience with high-load systems and large-scale data processing
• Kubernetes in production
• Python for tooling or scraping
• TypeScript
• Redis
• Symfony framework
