Mid/Senior Pipeline Developer

What you will do

• Maintain production schedules, quotas, task tracking, and progress reporting.
• Work with CG, modeling, texturing, rendering, supervision, coordination, and R&D teams to define processing parameters and workflow needs.
• Develop and maintain pipeline tools after gaining experience, with approval from CG supervision and R&D leadership.
• Provide R&D support, implement requested corrections, and prepare materials for review and approval.
• Support a strong team dynamic through clear communication, information gathering, and assistance to less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the complete workflow and stages of a 3D animation production.
• Previous production experience and experience with at least one animation software.
• Python programming experience, including object-oriented programming and GUI development.
• Experience with Git or similar version-control software and complex repositories.
• Experience with VFX databases such as Flow or ShotGrid.
• Experience using Maya, Houdini, or Nuke APIs to develop artist tools and automate processes, plus render-farm management with Deadline or similar software.
