What you will do

• Deliver exceptional, real-world, enquiry-based Chemistry and Biology lessons for grades 8-11.
• Design rigorous lesson plans and integrate technology to enhance instructional delivery.
• Observe, coach, and serve as a model teacher for apprentice and new teachers.
• Set ambitious academic goals and provide student feedback to drive academic excellence.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and use data to adjust instructional content and techniques.
• Collaborate with Deans and learning designers in weekly feedback and professional development meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a Chemistry major and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• SACE registration is essential.
• Biology major up to third-year university level with experience teaching Biology (Grades 10-12).
• Proven ability to lead a classroom independently and connect with the target age group.
• Deep understanding of and passion for student-centered, enquiry-based learning.
• Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
