What you will do

• Design, develop, and operate core transaction risk services and infrastructure using Kotlin and Java.
• Own end-to-end delivery of key components on the company's microservice framework, including design, testing, and deployment.
• Build high-concurrency, highly available distributed services, optimizing for latency and throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define technical solutions, APIs, and service boundaries.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies such as graph databases, streaming, ML, and LLMs.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Strong professional expertise in Kotlin or Java for backend development.
• Proven experience building scalable and reliable distributed services for production workloads.
• Ability to drive architectural improvements and define clear service boundaries.
• Must be based in Singapore.
• Experience participating in on-call rotations and performing root-cause analysis for incidents.
