What you will do
- Lead and develop a squad of engineers, handling performance management, engagement, and day-to-day people support.
- Spearhead the end-to-end software delivery of business-critical digital, eCommerce, and mobile platforms.
- Partner with clients to translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.
- Champion software quality through the implementation of TDD, BDD, and XP practices.
- Provide regular feedback, mentoring, and career development support as the key point of contact for progression.
- Collaborate with People Partners and Client Service colleagues to ensure successful engagement delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience with JavaScript, React Native, and at least one other framework or language.
- Track record of delivering large-scale, enterprise-level software projects in eCommerce and Mobile domains.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable architecture within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Experience line managing and acting as a technical leader for teams of 5+ people.
- Must be located within proximity to Reading / Thames Valley for essential site presence.
- Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
