What you will do

• Participate in Agile team activities, providing guidance on testing requirements, effort estimation, and risk assessment.
• Design and develop automated testing pipelines for integration, system, performance, security, and compatibility streams.
• Implement and report on automated test coverage strategies, update regression tests, and analyze results.
• Execute manual and exploratory testing for critical and high-risk areas.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in testing processes and applications.
• Contribute to test frameworks, continuous testing pipelines, and performance benchmarking strategies.
• Review code changes to design optimal test cases ensuring comprehensive coverage.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in software quality assurance with databases and mainframe (z/OS) experience.
• Experience with REXX programming language.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and Git SCM.
• Hands-on with performance, load, and scalability testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM Assembler (HLASM), Metal C, or Endevor SCM.
• Familiarity with API testing.
• ISTQB certification.
