What you will do

• Translate strategic objectives into target-state architectural principles, standards, and reference designs.
• Define and maintain architectural patterns for data platforms, interoperability, metadata, lineage, and master data management.
• Guide the modernization of legacy systems toward a unified, governed, cloud-enabled data ecosystem.
• Establish technical standards for data quality, access, consent, and privacy to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Enable AI/ML capabilities by defining standards for data products, shared analytics tooling, and MLOps.
• Serve as a technical bridge between clinical, research, operational, and technology teams to ensure architectural alignment.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data platforms, or analytics.
• Expertise in AI-native data architecture, modern data platforms, and cloud-native ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience operating as a senior individual contributor or technical authority in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship models, and data lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related technical field.
• Must be based in the United States.
