What you will do

  • Manage change requests, resolve bugs, and optimize performance for existing web applications and enterprise systems.
  • Handle production incidents with root cause analysis, system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Implement security fixes from code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Design and execute modernization roadmaps, transitioning legacy systems to modern architectures.
  • Document architectures and create knowledge transfer materials for team continuity.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent; 3-5 years experience developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise systems.
  • Strong Java (incl. Java 8), Spring Framework, Spring Boot; legacy frameworks (Struts, JSF, JSP) and Oracle WebLogic administration.
  • Modern frontend (React), jQuery, web storage; Oracle/Sybase databases, stored procedures troubleshooting.
  • API development, microservices, containerization, cloud deployments; file integrations, SFTP, batch jobs.
  • Authentication (SiteMinder, LDAP, OIDC), secure coding; Git/SVN, Linux/Unix admin, CI/CD tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience with government or highly regulated systems.
  • Leading modernization or redevelopment projects.
  • Event-driven solutions like Solace.
  • Azure DevOps tools (Boards, Pipelines).
