What you will do

• Lead a team of approximately 5 developers in the modernization of custom web applications from ColdFusion to .NET/Java.
• Drive the modernization of the NIDA Extramural Project System (NEPS) while overseeing operations and maintenance (O&M) activities.
• Provide technical direction, conduct code reviews, and offer architectural guidance to ensure delivery milestones and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for all technical issues in close coordination with the Project Manager and COR.
• Lead Scrum sessions and manage project tasks within an Agile environment using JIRA-like tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Senior Programmer designing and developing enterprise applications.
• Deep expertise in Java (11/17+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, and RESTful/GraphQL API development.
• Hands-on experience building large-scale applications using .NET, .NET Core, SharePoint, and Power Platforms.
• Demonstrated experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LLM integration, and RAG pipelines.
• Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Must be authorized to work in US federal or government IT environments.

Nice to have

• Understanding and experience with analytical tools like QlikSense.
• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) or AI/ML technologies.
