What you will do

• Design and implement Domain-Specific LoRA fine-tuning architectures for quality inspection and predictive maintenance.
• Develop multi-modal AI systems integrating machine vision, robotics controls, and production telemetry.
• Build production-grade ML infrastructure and orchestrate services using Kubernetes and FastAPI.
• Develop proprietary embedding models and optimize CUDA kernels for large-scale manufacturing datasets.
• Collaborate with plant engineers and robotics specialists to digitize manufacturing operations.
• Establish MLOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software or machine learning engineering experience.
• 3+ years of specialized experience in AI/ML for manufacturing automation and robotics.
• Proficiency in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and C# or C++.
• Full-stack development experience with React/TypeScript and FastAPI.
• Advanced database engineering skills with PostgreSQL and pgvector.
• No immigration sponsorship available now or in the future.
• Ability to work on the plant floor around operating equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with QLoRA and custom training loops (AdamW, LAMB, Lion).
• Expertise in Vision Transformers (ViT), DETR, Mask R-CNN, and EfficientDet.
• Knowledge of self-supervised and contrastive learning (SimCLR, MoCo).
• CUDA optimization for inference acceleration and kernel fusion.
