What you will do

• Develop and collaborate on authentication, authorization, audit logging, and monitoring systems.
• Implement secure access methods including SAML, SCIM, MFA, and passwordless auth.
• Ensure proper resource authorization that is secure and developer-friendly.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to standardize database access management and integration patterns.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as NIST.
• Maintain internal documentation and handle on-call escalations for the identity and access management platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on complex system design and development.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, specifically C++ and TypeScript.
• Experience implementing SAML, SCIM, OAuth2, or OIDC standards.
• Experience implementing access control on web applications, APIs, and databases.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud computing, and scalable architectures.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
