What you will do

• Maintain and refactor the ZENITH platform to improve code quality, maintainability, and performance under growing user loads.
• Develop new functional features by converting Figma designs into React components and Mapbox visualization layers.
• Enhance Python/FastAPI services, ensuring stable asynchronous processes and optimized Pydantic schemas.
• Build and maintain API bridges using webhooks and polling for continuous satellite data updates.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases, ensuring efficient spatial queries and STAC metadata compliance.
• Deploy and maintain containerized microservices within Kubernetes using Docker.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Python and FastAPI, including strong async programming and Pydantic expertise.
• Proficiency in React.js (Hooks, state management) and geospatial libraries like Mapbox.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and spatial optimization via PostGIS.
• Experience with Docker and deploying microservices in AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Solid understanding of OIDC/OAuth2 and Keycloak integration for security.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of STAC for imagery metadata management.
• Experience troubleshooting and improving third-party API integrations.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into production-ready UI components.
