What you will do

  • Support the design of turbine blades and vanes, including profiles, angles, and stacking.
  • Perform CFD simulations for turbine cascades and stages to analyze flow fields, losses, and heat transfer.
  • Evaluate turbine performance under design and off-design conditions and match with compressor and combustor.
  • Support rig and engine testing activities, define instrumentation requirements, and analyze test data.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and thermal teams to ensure integrated design.
  • Improve aerodynamic tools and document best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4–7 years of experience in turbomachinery aerodynamic design.
  • Proficiency with turbomachinery design tools such as NREC, ADT, or AXstrem.
  • Experience with CFD tools including ANSYS Fluent, CFX, or NUMECA.
  • Strong understanding of turbine aerodynamics and flow physics.

Nice to have

  • Experience in small gas turbines or turbojet engines.
  • Exposure to multi-stage turbine design.
  • Experience with test data analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of heat transfer and cooling flows.
