What you will do

• Attend regular committee meetings (monthly, in-person or remote) and review applications asynchronously as needed.
• Review and assess new and existing data access requests from external researchers (academics, clinical researchers, pharma).
• Provide feedback on applications to ensure they demonstrate UK public interest and patient benefit.
• Approve summaries of decisions and outcomes for publication on hirify.global UK’s website.

Requirements

• Clinician or clinical academic with experience using real-world data (RWD) for outcomes research, ideally in cancer.
• Passionate about improving cancer research and care through fair and transparent health data use.
• Collaborative, willing to work with cross-functional committee members and Flatiron colleagues.
• Experience evaluating ethics of research studies or keen to participate in this process.
