An early-stage blockchain infrastructure company building a novel L3 protocol where on-chain data is natively queryable via SQL, eliminating the need for external indexers.

What you will do

• Own the core protocol, including the L3 node (modified OP Stack client), state management, and stability.
• Architect and maintain the native queryable storage layer based on SQLite.
• Lead the design and delivery of L2-L3 smart contracts, including Bridges, Account Abstraction, and gas logic.
• Develop SDKs in TypeScript and Python, APIs, and core technical documentation.
• Drive performance benchmarking and reliability targets for pre- and post-mainnet phases.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a senior protocol engineering team.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in EVM internals and L2/L3 architectures (OP Stack strongly preferred).
• Strong Go engineering background in building high-performance distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with smart contract security, specifically bridges and core protocol contracts.
• Proven ability to architect complex systems and own them in production.
• Experience leading and mentoring senior engineers.
• Time zone alignment: Must be based within CET ±3.
