What you will do

• Clinically check controlled drug prescriptions for medicinal cannabis.
• Ensure timely availability, dispatch of medicines, and compliance with regulatory requirements for storage and dispensing.
• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist, maintaining security and supervising pharmacy staff.
• Provide patient counselling on the safe use of medicines and specialised equipment.
• Collaborate with prescribers and multidisciplinary teams to manage safe prescribing practices.
• Maintain electronic health records and conduct stock monitoring and audits to ensure GPhC compliance.

Requirements

• UK-qualified, registered Pharmacist with a valid GPhC number.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• CPD-accredited medical cannabis education is preferred (training provided if necessary).
