iOS Engineer (Ecommerce)

TL;DR

iOS Engineer (Swift/SwiftUI): Building and delivering product innovations for a global marketplace of special objects with an accent on native mobile app features, scalability, and user experience. Focus on designing high-performance features using VIPER architecture, conducting A/B experiments, and optimizing performance across iOS and iPadOS devices.

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal. Relocation package available. Minimum 2 days per week in office.

What you will do

• Build beautiful, adaptable native iOS and iPadOS features on top of scalable microservices.
• Optimize system performance and ensure stability across recent OS versions and devices.
• Use A/B experiments and data analysis to iterate on product features and improve user experience.
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams including Backend, Frontend, UX Designers, and Product Managers.
• Monitor and manage applications in production, taking full ownership of the build-run cycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an iOS Engineer using Swift as the main stack.
• Proficiency in SwiftUI, UIKit, and the Swift standard library.
• Strong understanding of VIPER architecture and programming principles like SOLID and DRY.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as XCTest, XCUITest, Quick & Nimble, or snapshot testing.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal for a hybrid work setup.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or affinity with other tech stacks such as frontend web, backend, or Android.
• Experience running applications in production.
