SAP Payroll Consultant (SuccessFactors)

TL;DR

SAP Payroll Consultant (SAP SuccessFactors): Designing and implementing SAP Payroll and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) solutions for clients with an accent on Australian payroll legislation and regulatory compliance. Focus on transitioning payroll end-user expertise into functional consulting, configuring payroll rules, and overseeing end-to-end implementations.

Location: Must be based in Australia or New Zealand (Remote within these locations, with occasional travel for project milestones)

What you will do

• Translate payroll business requirements into SAP Payroll and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) functional designs.
• Support end-to-end SAP Payroll implementations, covering design, configuration, testing, and data migration.
• Configure payroll rules, wage types, schemas, and calculations aligned with Australian legislation.
• Facilitate client workshops to map current-state processes to future-state SAP solutions.
• Perform unit, integration, parallel, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to build deep SAP functional and consulting capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in Australian Payroll within an in-house or outsourced environment.
• Strong knowledge of STP Phase 2, Superannuation, and Fair Work legislation.
• Experience as an end-user of payroll systems.
• Strong analytical skills and a clear desire to pivot from payroll operations into functional consulting.
• Must be based in Australia or New Zealand.
