What you will do

• Develop and implement adaptive strategy for UK PACT projects in collaboration with BHC, FCDO, and hirify.global team, identifying complementary programmes and market opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with government, civil society, financial institutions, and private sector to design interventions and promote funding opportunities.
• Manage grant funding windows, calls for proposals, project selection, set-up, and performance oversight for implementing partners.
• Lead partner performance management, reporting, risk mitigation (safeguarding, fraud, compliance), and budget stewardship.
• Coordinate reporting to FCDO/BHC, contribute to governance, and ensure alignment with strategy and KPIs.
• Line-manage two Fund Associates, providing coaching and oversight for delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years in programme/project/fund management and delivery, including multi-partner grant portfolios and competitive funding rounds
• Strong donor/client management with FCDO/government, reporting, and ad-hoc response skills
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement across government, civil society, private sector, and financial institutions
• Experience in grant portfolio management: calls, selection, contracting, and partner performance
• Team leadership, coaching, and line-management experience
• Adaptive management, risk identification/mitigation (delivery, political, safeguarding, fraud), and budget oversight
• Professional fluency in English

Nice to have

• Experience on FCDO or similar donor-funded programmes
• Sector exposure to climate policy, clean energy transition, or green finance in Nigeria/comparable contexts
• Skills in strategy design, theories of change, logframes, and MEL-driven improvements
