What you will do

• Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software within an interdisciplinary team.
• Develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures based on engineering concepts.
• Execute test plans using equipment such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, and oscilloscopes.
• Coordinate environmental test efforts and hardware assembly integration.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex electrical, software, and mechanical problems in integrated systems.

Requirements

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.
• Graduated within the last 6 months or currently enrolled in a post-graduate program.
• Must be onsite 5 days a week in San Francisco.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required for export regulation compliance.
• Passion for hands-on hardware development and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing complex electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Python for interfacing with test equipment, processing large datasets, and data visualization.
• Direct experience in electrical or software design.
• Proven ability to debug hardware and software issues under time pressure.
