What you will do

• Design, implement, and support innovative security solutions to improve service performance, durability, and security.
• Deliver high-quality, scalable logging solutions to support petabytes of data deployed worldwide.
• Collaborate with product owners and customers to implement new features and onboard services for data ingestion.
• Develop simple, repeatable, and well-documented processes for data analysis and transformation.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure systems remain fault-tolerant and resolve root causes.
• Coach, hire, and develop team members to achieve engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Proven track record of building and delivering complex software systems to customers.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and operations.
• Expertise in architecture and design patterns, specifically regarding reliability and scaling.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience building and operating cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of Linux, networking protocols, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., telnet, dig, packet capture).
• Experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices and access control systems.
