HR Director

About the company
Intaba Digital is a new iGaming company entering the South African market, focused on launching a fully licensed casino and sportsbook platform. The company aims to build a scalable and compliant product tailored to local players.
Responsibilities
— Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with business and launch goals
— Lead full employee lifecycle for technical, operational, and executive roles
— Build recruitment and onboarding processes from scratch
— Implement and automate HR systems and tools
— Manage employee relations, compensation, and benefits structures
Requirements
— 3+ years as Senior HRBP or Head of HR in iGaming, gambling, or betting
— Experience with HRIS (e.g. BambooHR) and ATS tools
— Strong strategic workforce planning and organizational design skills
— Fluent English communication skills
— Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
Nice to have:
—Proven track record in the iGaming, Gambling, or Betting industries
— Experience with licensing processes and regulatory compliance in these sectors is highly valued
— Experience working in a startup environment or establishing a new entity from scratch
— Knowledge of labor law in South Africa
— Experience managing cross-cultural teams (Eastern European and African)
