What you will do

• Lead and support the Codex Secretariat teams for various subsidiary bodies, overseeing planning and implementation.
• Prepare agendas, technical working documents, and reports for Commission sessions.
• Monitor the progress of standards development and the implementation of the Codex Strategic Plan.
• Represent the Joint hirify.global/WHO Food Standards Programme at international meetings and expert bodies.
• Provide technical advice and information concerning food standards to governments and other interested parties.
• Coordinate engagement with hirify.global, WHO, and other external international organizations.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree (Master's) in food science, public health, biological sciences, veterinary medicine, agriculture science, nutrition or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the development and application of food standards and food control programmes.
• English: Proficiency Level C (Fluent) required.
• Another hirify.global official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish): Intermediate Level B required.
• Experience in intergovernmental negotiations and multilateral fora related to food safety and trade.
