Senior Java Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Java Engineer (Java/Spring): Designing, developing, and implementing Java-based applications, components, and services with an accent on high-performance and low-latency environments. Focus on multi-threading, networking with TCP/IP sockets, and ensuring software quality through collaboration with QA.

Onsite in Limassol, Cyprus. Relocation support to Cyprus including visa and work permit.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications, components, and services.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads on software architecture and design patterns.
• Work with QA engineers to ensure quality and reliability of deliverables.
• Follow clear specifications, requirements, plans, and deadlines provided by Product Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years as Java Developer.
• Solid experience with unit testing, J2SE, multi-threading (Executors, locks), Collections framework.
• Experience with Spring Web, Spring IoC, TCP/IP networking, sockets (Netty nice to have), SQL.
• Skills in high-performance, low-latency environments and strong analytical problem-solving.
• Fluency in Russian and B1+ English.
• Use AI as core part of work.

• Netty, Quarkus, Redis, PostgreSQL, Protobuf.
